SACRAMENTO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Global Fund of Africa, an initiative of Global Fund for Assistance Inc., today announced the launch of an ambitious US$1 billion resource-mobilization campaign for 2027–2030, ahead of its First Replenishment Conference on December 18, 2026, at Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, Canada.

Under the theme “Mobilizing Capital for Africa’s Future,” the conference will convene philanthropic, corporate, institutional, diplomatic, development and African leaders to advance partnerships and mobilize resources for high-impact initiatives across the continent.

The campaign is being launched under the message:

ONE AFRICA. ONE SHARED FUTURE. $1 BILLION FOR IMPACT.

Global Fund of Africa aims to mobilize US$1 billion for the 2027–2030 period to support initiatives across nine priority areas: health and healthcare; education; food security and agriculture; clean water and sanitation; humanitarian and disaster response; women and children; entrepreneurship and job creation; climate and environment; and community development.

“Africa has extraordinary human potential, entrepreneurial energy and opportunities for transformative development. This campaign is about bringing institutions, businesses, philanthropists, governments and communities together around a shared ambition: mobilizing resources at the scale required to create lasting impact,” said Dr. Louison Mbombo, Founder & CEO of Global Fund of Africa.

The fundraising campaign will engage philanthropic institutions, corporations, foundations, governments, development organizations, major donors and other prospective partners.

The First Replenishment Conference of Global Fund of Africa will serve as a high-level platform to present the replenishment case, advance institutional partnerships and, where appropriate, recognize appropriately documented commitments toward the 2027–2030 resource-mobilization goal.

The conference will take place on December 18, 2026, at Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, under the theme “Mobilizing Capital for Africa’s Future.”

Organizations are also being invited to explore conference sponsorship and strategic engagement opportunities. Conference sponsorship is separate from replenishment commitments and does not confer influence over grantmaking, funding allocations, governance, procurement or project selection.
