New Professional Women’s Volleyball Franchise to Celebrate Its Los Angeles Arrival With Brand Launch, Select-a-Seat Experience and Fan Fest
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESS Newswire / August 26, 2026 / LOVB Los Angeles, the newest professional sports franchise in Southern California, announced today that Intuit Dome will serve as the team’s inaugural home venue, establishing the franchise as the premier professional women’s volleyball in Los Angeles.

The announcement further cements its position as a leader in the professional sports and volleyball landscape. Following their recent unveiling of an unprecedented roster and the addition of Zé Roberto, the most winning coach in the sport, the announcement of an iconic venue in Intuit Dome underscores LOVB Los Angeles’ ambitious vision.
LOVB Los Angeles is also unveiling a series of highly anticipated events that will officially introduce the franchise to Los Angeles fans and the broader Southern California community, including its official Brand Launch Event, Select-a-Seat Event and inaugural Fan Fest.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for LOVB Los Angeles as the franchise begins in one of the world’s most influential sports and entertainment markets. It also comes at a pivotal moment for volleyball in Southern California, a region with a deep history of developing elite volleyball talent and one that will be at the center of the global sports spotlight ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games hosted by the city.
A NEW HOME FOR PROFESSIONAL VOLLEYBALL IN LOS ANGELES
Intuit Dome, located in Inglewood, CA, will provide LOVB Los Angeles with a state-of-the-art, immersive setting for its inaugural season, combining a premium fan experience with the energy and connection needed to create an entirely new professional volleyball atmosphere.
“Volleyball already has one of the largest and most passionate communities in Southern California. What it hasn’t had is a professional stage that matches the scale of that fandom,” said Alexis Ohanian, Founder of 776 and Owner of LOVB Los Angeles. “Intuit Dome gives us exactly that. We’re building LOVB Los Angeles with the ambition to create one of the best live experiences in women’s sports – and there’s no better place to do it than LA.”
For LOVB Los Angeles, the relationship with Intuit Dome represents an important part of the franchise’s larger vision to elevate women’s professional sports and establish volleyball as a major part of Los Angeles’ sports landscape.
“Southern California has an extensive, storied and passionate volleyball community hungry for a next level professional volleyball experience,” said Gillian Zucker, CEO of Halo Sports & Entertainment. “No one recognizes that opportunity more than Alexis Ohanian and 776 who bring an established track record in women’s sports and bold ambitions for advancing their mission of world class women’s athletics. As the home court for LOVB LA, Intuit Dome is honored to play a small role in that vision here in Los Angeles.”
LOVB LOS ANGELES BRAND LAUNCH
LOVB Los Angeles will officially unveil its brand to the city at an invitation-only Brand Launch Event on September 25, 2026 at Intuit Dome.
The event will introduce the franchise’s visual identity, team colors, brand story and vision for professional volleyball in Los Angeles, while bringing together athletes, ownership, community leaders, sports and entertainment figures, media, partners and other influential members of the Los Angeles community.
The event will offer the first look at the world of LOVB Los Angeles inside its new home.
SELECT-A-SEAT EVENT & FAN FEST
Following the brand launch, LOVB Los Angeles will host an exclusive Select-a-Seat Event on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Intuit Dome, giving founding depositors the opportunity to experience the venue firsthand and have first priority in selecting their seats for the team’s inaugural season.
This special group will have the opportunity to tour the venue, explore seating options and experience the atmosphere of their future home court while becoming some of the first official LOVB Los Angeles ticket holders.
“We’re building LOVB Los Angeles with our fans, not simply for them,” said Ana Mendy, President of LOVB Los Angeles. “From choosing their seats to meeting our athletes to helping shape the traditions that will define this team, we want our Day 1 fans to be part of this story from the very beginning. September 26 is their first chance to choose their place in it.”
The Select-a-Seat event will also offer fans an opportunity to meet members of the LOVB Los Angeles organization including the team’s players and experience the franchise’s vision for game days before the team takes home court in 2027.
That day, LOVB Los Angeles will also bring the franchise directly to the community with its inaugural LOVB Los Angeles Fan Fest.
Designed as a free celebration for the city of Los Angeles and fans of all ages, the Fan Fest will feature opportunities for the city to meet LOVB Los Angeles athletes, participate in volleyball activities, experience interactive entertainment, shop official and limited-edition team merchandise and get an inside look at what is to come when the franchise begins play.
LOVB Los Angeles is one of four expansion franchises joining League One Volleyball in Season Three. Led by Ohanian and 776, with Mendy serving as President, the franchise will begin its inaugural season in December 2026.
