CUMMING, GA, UNITED STATES, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — For Jennifer Jack-Wunder, expanding Comfort Keepers of Cumming is about more than growing a business. As a North Georgia native whose family has lived, worked, and served throughout the region for seven generations, Jennifer sees the expansion as an opportunity to reach more seniors and families in a community that is part of the place she has always called home.
After more than 20 years as a nurse, much of that time dedicated to geriatric care, Jennifer has seen what trusted support can mean for older adults and their families. She has seen the relief a daughter feels when she knows her mother has someone dependable by her side and the difference it makes when a spouse can spend more time simply being a husband or wife instead of managing every daily need. Those experiences continue to drive her passion for serving seniors.
Now, after 23 years in business, Jennifer is continuing that commitment through the expansion of Comfort Keepers of Cumming. The expanded location will celebrate with a ribbon cutting hosted alongside the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce on August 26 at 2:00 p.m.
“North Georgia isn’t simply where we do business. It’s home,” said Jennifer Jack-Wunder, owner of Comfort Keepers of Cumming. “My family has lived, worked, and served in this region for seven generations. Expanding in Cumming gives us an opportunity to reach more seniors and families, strengthen our relationships within the community, and continue serving people who have spent their lives serving others. That’s what makes this growth so meaningful to me.”
That relationship-centered approach is reflected in Comfort Keepers’ Journey of Care. Support may begin with companionship, help with a shower, or a ride to the store. As needs change, the same familiar caregiver can continue providing support, building trust and becoming a familiar part of the family’s everyday life.
Serving those who have served others is also central to Jennifer’s work. Comfort Keepers supports Veterans and their spouses through caregiving services, career opportunities, and free guidance navigating VA resources and benefits. Veterans are also part of the Comfort Keepers team, bringing their own experiences of service and commitment to the families and communities the organization serves.
Comfort Keepers of Cumming also helps families navigate the practical side of planning for care, including helping those with long-term care insurance better understand the details of their policies.
Jennifer’s commitment to people extends to her team and the broader North Georgia community. Comfort Keepers invests in employees through continuing education, meaningful benefits, professional growth opportunities, and scholarships while supporting local charities, schools, programs, and organizations. That commitment to its team has earned Comfort Keepers recognition as a 2026 Best of Home Care® Leader in Training by Activated Insights.
For Jennifer, the August 26 ribbon cutting represents another step forward in a mission she has spent decades building. Expanding Comfort Keepers of Cumming means having the opportunity to reach more seniors, support more families, create opportunities for caregivers and Veterans, and deepen the organization’s connection with the Cumming community.
“This is about being able to serve more people and continue building meaningful relationships,” Jennifer said. “When a family trusts us to care for someone they love, we never take that responsibility lightly.”
