In an era dominated by “A.I.” production, Cole took a hands-on “human” approach—personally tracking every acoustic guitar, bassline, musette, keyboards, and rich vocal layers himself in his home studio. To give the song its unmistakable pulse, he looked beyond his own studio, collaborating with a session drummer, and recording engineers and mixers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The result gives the song live percussion that breathes life into the track’s driving rhythm.
