Infinitum today announced its Aircore EC+ motor system is a finalist in the Sustainable Solutions category for the 2027 AHR Innovation Awards. The recognition underscores the Aircore EC+’s ability to advance energy efficiency and power quality in the HVAC industry, while helping commercial and industrial facilities do more with less.

Engineered with lightweight air-core technology and an integrated variable frequency drive (VFD) with Active Front End for harmonic mitigation, Aircore EC+ reduces real-world energy consumption by up to 20%, while requiring less electrical infrastructure and fewer supporting components. By mitigating harmonics at the source, the Aircore EC+ improves power quality without bulky external filters and helps facilities maximize available electrical capacity. Its compact and serviceable design also reduces material use, simplifies installation and extends operating life.

“Power-intensive industries face growing pressure to do more with limited electrical capacity,” said Ben Schuler, founder and CEO, Infinitum. “Aircore EC+ goes beyond energy efficiency to improve power quality and help facilities maximize existing electrical capacity without costly infrastructure upgrades. We’re honored to be recognized once again by the prestigious AHR Innovation Awards for our meaningful market impact in the HVAC industry.”

“The winning products, along with all of this year’s finalists, demonstrate the HVACR industry’s ability to respond to critical demands and evolving challenges with innovative solutions to support the shared goals of energy efficiency, compliance, cost-effectiveness and improved equipment performance,” said Show Manager Jeff Stevens.

Infinitum will be exhibiting its Aircore EC+ and its latest motor and fan solutions at the 2027 AHR Expo happening Jan. 25-27 in Chicago, Illinois (Booth N3160). To learn more about the Aircore EC+, visit the company’s product page.
